Looking for a water sport place in Medan? You can visit Pantai Cermin Themepark situated 55 kilometers from Medan. Known as the earliest water themepark in North Sumatra, you can enjoy different kinds of water activities and sports with a reasonably priced entrance ticket. Several hotels and restaurants are available for people wanting to stay overnight to dine.

Typically called Cermin Beach, this wonderful place offers many interesting sights and activities. There are bird shows, lots of swimming pools, white sand beach and the vast coconut and cacao plantation lined along the beach. Your eyes will be filled with many things to explore and discover. In addition, plenty of foreign and local tourists come to this place as it is a famous holiday destination.

Besides the water, several exciting attractions are found inside the themepark such as the Mini-Zoo and the Bird Park, which contains different types of animals such as peacocks, black cockatoo, golden phasant, parrot and 500 other bird species. Organized by the Malaysia Investor and Local Government, it is open from Monday to Sunday except Tuesday. The park is open from 11.00 until 18.00 during Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. On weekends, it is extended for two hours so visitors can stay for a longer time. Entrance tickets from Monday to Friday cost Rp 20,000 for kids and Rp40,000 for adults while during Saturday, Sunday and public holidays, there is an additional Rp20,000. To get to Pantai Cermin Themepark, you can ride a taxi or rent a car, which is the most recommended way to reach the park. If you choose to take a chartered car for one day (inclusive gasoline and driver cost), you’ll pay around Rp300k to 400k.
